THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone for making this campaign launch on Saturday, December 6th a truly significant, simple, warm, and unifying moment!
The cold and cloudy weather did not deter us: we were able to share this momentum, this new breath of life for Lourmarin, together.
What a pleasure to start this campaign in the heart of the village, especially at Café Gaby, our historic café, a true Lourmarin institution where local news is made.
Every morning, you can also find team members in the village cafés for daily office hours of approximately 2 hours: I wish to conduct a grassroots campaign, in direct contact with you.
We were able to unveil our slogan “A NEW BREATH OF LIFE FOR LOURMARIN” as well as our logo, featuring the belfry (our “salt shaker”) as a symbol. This is a nod to what defines our village’s identity and a way to affirm that we aim high for Lourmarin! ![]()
I also had the pleasure of introducing 4 initial running mates, who will be part of this excellent, competent, and approachable team: • Stéphane, a Lourmarin resident at heart whom you often see at the village tobacco shop, is an entrepreneur deeply involved in community life; • Brigitte, a nurse and daughter of Gu, our iconic baker Auguste Barret, who brought life to the heart of the village for years with his wife. She has dedicated her life to solidarity, care, and listening to others, especially our elders; • Guillaume, a runner with the Lourma-Run group, is the financial director of a municipality in Bouches-du-Rhône. Because money doesn’t grow on trees and we don’t have a magic wand, his experience will help us build a serious and realistic project; • Manon, daughter of village restaurateurs, has accumulated over 1,000 hours of perinatal support and wishes to represent the voice of the youth.
The future is being built with you!
This THURSDAY, DECEMBER 11th at 6 PM at the Albert Camus Hall, we are organizing a citizen workshop to share our vision, listen to your ideas, and discuss together the topics that are important to you for the Lourmarin of tomorrow. ![]()
Everyone is welcome.
